Whitlee looked beautiful too.  She will be a beautiful bride one day!

Elizabeth and Bryan were married this weekend.  All I can say is that it was beautiful.  Elizabeth was of course beautiful and the wedding and reception as well.  They did such a great job planning and thinking everything through.
Friday we had the bridesmaid luncheon, rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.  Then Saturday afternoon at 5pm the wedding bells were ringing.  Thanks guys for including me in your special time.  I felt honored to be a part and enjoyed every moment.  We love you and are so happy for you!

The Tyndalls

This weekend, Jason and I traveled to the Outer Banks for Perry and Lauran's wedding.  It was a great time and very beautiful.  Of course Lauran was a beautiful bride.  They had things planned to a T.  Jason had the privilege to marry them.  I thought that was so special for them to ask and he loved that he got to share in that with them.  What a great job he did!
Congrats guys!  Thanks for including us in your special weekend!

The weekend of Easter Egg Hunts!

He was all smiles!
Once the eggs reached the cart, he then wanted to throw them back in the grass.
Our family!
Caden and Mommy!
All the egg hunters counting up their findings.
Caden and Mimi.
4 generations!
Faith got a Kazoo for a prize and Caden loved it!
We hope everyone had a great Easter!
Caden experienced his first egg hunt this past weekend.  He experienced quite a few as a matter of fact.  The first being on Saturday at Ryan and Angie's house...thanks guys, it was a great time.  After getting home later that day Jason then took Caden out for another hunt because they had such a great time that morning.  Caden laughed a giggled a ton.  On Sunday we went to my Dad's for lunch and Jason and I hid around 100 or so eggs for Caleb, Faith, Jordan and Caden.
Needlesss to say, the Easter eggs are still under Caden's crib in his wagon for another hunt each day.  It looks like it will be Easter all year long at the McDaniel's.  The egg hunts were one of our fondest memories as a family so far.  Jason and I laughed at Caden as much as he laughed.  We love being parents.  He's a joy.

UNC is #1!

Our little man's room is decked out in a UNC basketball theme.  Here's Caden and Daddy holding up the #1!
Interesting fact:  UNC won a national championship the year Jason was born...27 years later the same is true for his son.
Two of my favorite people.
Reggie, Lauran, Perry, Jason and Shane.
The crazies on Franklin Street jumping over the bon fire.  They were expecting many thousands of people on Franklin Street last night.

That's right.  Our basketball team won the national championship last night.  The McDaniel household is thrilled and it's exciting for our campus too.  In hopes that they would win Jason and Shane met Perry, Lauran and Reggie (a UNC recruit who's finishing up his junior year at KHS) at the Dean Dome to watch the game.  They had a blast.  Jason said it was pretty crazy and exciting inside.  He took pictures for me so I could experience some of the excitement on campus too.
Caden and I chilled at home of course.  I think our little guy would have been a little afraid of all the hooping and hollering.  Caden cheered from his crib and I cheered from my living room sofa.
Go Heels!

Wedding Bells

Caroline, Elizabeth, Katie, Melissa, and Taylor
Which toilet paper wedding gown do you like the best?
Opening up the lingerie...
Ms. Pam waiting for the water to cool to soak her feet.
In Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago Stacey and I bought Caden and Conner the same outfit.  We made a pack that we would take their picture together this weekend.  They looked like 2 little old men together.  So cute.

In less than a month my sweet friend Elizabeth will be walking down the isle as the beautiful bride.  Because of that...Mom and I hosted a lingerie shower in her honor this weekend in Emerald Isle.  We had a great time at our little sleep over getaway.  Basically, we ate, laughed and rested the entire time.  Here are some pictures.
